Robert Hickling
Robert Hickling, 62, of Port Arthur went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 30, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Broussard’s Nederland at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 2, 2006 with interment to follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family will be from 4 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the mortuary.
Robert was a native of Omaha, Nebraska and had lived in the Port Arthur area for 30 years. He was preceded in by his parents, Earl and Isla Hickling, sisters, Berniece Huwe and Rose Brown.
Surviving Mr. Hickling are his wife, Cynthia Hickling of Port Arthur; son, Daniel Hickling of Port Arthur; daughter, Katie Hickling of Port Arthur; sister, Joan Berghuis and husband Henry of Arlington, WA. Robert is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
The family request that memorials be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund. A special thank you is given to Dr. J. Schachner and the staff of Texas Oncology and the staff of Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
