Albert F. “Buddy” Heien, 81, of Beaumont passed away Friday, October 27, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native of Arkansas and resident of Beaumont for over fifty five years, Albert was a rice buyer, retiring with Comet Rice after thirty eight years of service. He had many good friends among the local rice farmers; and was a fifty year member of Texas/Louisiana fishing rodeo. Albert was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Mr. Heien is survived by his wife, Annette of Beaumont; son, Ric and wife Carolyn of College Station; daughter, Debra Daniel of Beaumont; grandson, Alex Heien and wife Lisa of Plano; granddaughters, Kelsey Heien of Houston and Dana Daniel of Beaumont; two great grandchildren; Audrey and Wesley Heien of Plano.
A loving husband father, and a doting grandfather, he was dedicated to his family. Albert will be missed.
