Marie Griffith, 96, of Beaumont died Friday, October 13, 2006 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born March 16, 1910. She sold Avon for sixty years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Her husband, Emmett Griffith; and granddaughter, Joan Radke, preceded Marie in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Radke and Jeannene Morgan both of Russellville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Janice Townsend and her husband Will of Pottsville, Arkansas, Andy Radke, Jr. of Beaumont, Jackie Underhill and her husband Keith of Russellville, and Donny Morgan of Denton; seven great grandchildren, Laurie Whitney of Vidor, Brendon Morgan of Denton, Jordan and Moriah Underhill of Russellville, Heather Jackson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Piper Fuka of Arlington, and Skylar Townsend of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two great great grandchildren, Brenton and Lauren Whitney of Vidor; three sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with Reverend Keith Underhill and Reverend L.L. St. Clergy officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening, October 16, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
