I converted to Catholism in 1958. It was Father Burton who made the difference during my teen years at Assumption Church in Houston. There were so many positive role models from 1954-1965. His smile, his laugh, his knowlege of sports and theology were awesome. He heard my first confession, served me my first communion and his councel was so benifical to me. I live in Arizona but return often and visit Assumption. I pray that Fr. Burton is praying for me. It's 2012 and I still think of him.
