Sandra Sue Holub, 62, of Kountze, was born on March 12, 1944 in Abilene, Texas, to Lindsley and Carolyn Irene Bivens. She passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Abilene, Sandra lived in Kountze for the pasr 30 years. Sandra was a retired Quality Control Inspector for Helena Laboratories in Beaumont. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Kountze.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Warren Holub of Kountze; her children, Timothy Suniga of Cleveland, Shannon Lockhart of Silsbee, Gary Suniga and Katherine Holub both of Kountze; brothers, Sonny Bivens and his wife Sandy of Kountze, Travis Bivens of Houston, Sammy Bivens and his wife Donna of Tomball; sisters, Carole Garsee and husband Henry of Kountze, Wadie Mundy and husband Mike of Kountze, Evonne Byrne and husband David of Katy, Debbra Patruska and husband Fred of Magnolia; her grandchildren, Callie Lockhart, Jennifer Suniga, Christopher Lockhart, David Lokchart, Timmy Suniga, Joey Suniga, Gage Haga, Gabriel Haga, Hope Suniga, McKenzie Suniga and Macy Suniga.
In honoring Sandra’s wishes, cremation arrangements are being handled by Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Private memorial services will be held at a later date with the family.
