Arnold G. Garcia, 69, of Port Arthur, passed away October 6, 2006. He was born March 18, 1937 in Port Arthur, Texas to Daniel and Margaret Garcia.
He is survived by his wife Rose Vadez Garcia; three sons, Arnold M Garcia and wife Lisa of Groves, Roland Garcia of Port Arthur, and Joey Garcia of Groves; two daughters, Cindy Broeder and her husband Blake of Lumberton, and Christina Rosenthal and her husband Alex of Red Oak, Texas; four brothers, Dan Garcia and his wife Vivian of Tecamseh, MI, Gilbert Garcia and his wife Anita of Port Arthur, David Garcia and his wife Sue of Nederland, and Rudy Garcia and his wife Arlene of Fannett; three sisters, Delia Paredes of Beaumont, Norma Jordan and her husband Howard of Groves, and Sylvia Lona and her husband Arthur of Nederland; four grandchildren, Lee Broussard of Lumberton, Holden Garcia of Groves, Ryan Palumbo of Red Oak, and Devin Garcia of Groves, and a host of numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother in law, Andrew Paredes.
A gathering of Chico’s family and friends will be Monday, October 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street in Nederland, with a Christian Vigil service at 7 pm. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 10th at Broussard’s in Nederland, with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
