Marion W. “Fergie” Ferguson, of Beaumont, died Friday, October 6, 2006. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Emmy Ferguson; his daughters, Tishie Mae Ferguson of Beaumont and Betty Lynn Ferguson and her husband Jim Matera of Golden, Colorado; his son, James Marion Ferguson and his wife Flo of Beaumont; three granddaughters, Sarah Marcantel of Little Cypress, Keri Hanicak of Houston and Rebecca Gordon of Boulder, Colorado.
Mr. Ferguson and his wife owned and operated an automobile auction in Beaumont for a number of years. He enjoyed bridge, was an avid student of world history and spoke four languages.
A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2006 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
