Danny Ray Rawlinson, 55, of Nederland, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday October 5, 2006 at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland with Rev. Ralph Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday, October 4, 2006 at the mortuary.
Danny was a native of Houston and lived in Nederland since 1975. He was employed as a blacksmith with Gulf Co. Machine Shop with 31 years of service. Danny also served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during Vietnam.
Danny is survived by his wife Carol Rawlinson of Nederland; his parents, Herman and Mary Rawlinson of Beaumont; daughters, Robin Rawlinson of Beaumont, Rodona Neely of Beaumont; one son, Chris Rawlinson and wife Jessica of Nederland; one sister, Janice Davis of Beaumont; two brothers, Larry Rawlinson and wife Shellie of Dallas, and Tommy Rawlinson of Beaumont. Danny is also survived by his two grandchildren, Payton Rawlinson, and Madeline Neeley. He is also survived by special friends, Chris Copeland, Scott Cooley and a host of other relatives and friends.
