Beatrice Violet Bridges, 91, of Kirbyville, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at her son’s home in Zavalla.
A native of Zavalla, Texas, she was a resident of Kirbyville and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Jean White of Zavalla; sons, Reverend Author M. Bridges Jr. and wife Barbara of Zavalla; Frank Bridges of Kirbyville; Tommy Lee Bridges and Larry Edward Bridges and wife Rauline all of Lumberton; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grand children; 2 great great Grand children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Author Monroe Bridges and son James Allen Stanley and grandson Larry Gene Bridges.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Lone Pine Baptist Church in Broadus with her son Reverend Author Bridges Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Zavalla Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas immediately following the service. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s located at 490 Cemetery Rd. at Highway 96 Bypass in Silsbee, Texas.
