Marie "Ceil" Foreman, 78, of Port Arthur, passed away Friday, September 29, 2006 at Southeast Texas Medical Center in Port Arthur.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Christ Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Rev. Antony Moozhikuzy C.M.I. officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday, October 2, 2006 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at the mortuary.
Mrs. Foreman was a native of Delcambre, Louisiana and lived in Port Arthur since 1948. She was a member of St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Christ, and served as their past President of the Altar Society. Marie also sang in the choir, and was past President of St. Paul’s Group. She was a CCD Teacher and worked with the Festival at the Parish.
Mrs. Foreman was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Paul, and parents, Edmar and Althe Sonnier of Delcambre, Louisiana. Mrs. Foreman is survived by her two sons, Cecil Paul Foreman and wife Joan of Canada, and Druse Ferrell Foreman of Warren, Texas. Grandchildren, Brian Foreman, Erica Cheatham, Amanda Foreman Brown, Clayton Foreman; great grandchildren, Aspen Foreman, and Felicity Cheatham.
