Albert P. Schwartzenburg, 88, of Nederland, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at his residence in Nederland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends was from 6 to 8 PM Monday, September 18, 2006 with a rosary recited by St. Catherine Altar Society at 4:00 PM at the mortuary, and a Vigil service at 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
Mr. Schwartzenburg was a native of Opelousas, Louisiana and lived in Nederland since 2004. Mr. Schwartzenburg lived in the Port Arthur area for over 45 years. He was a senior accountant for Texaco in Port Arthur.
Mr. Schwartzenburg was preceded in death by his grandson, Shane Isom.
Albert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dean Schwartzenburg of Nederland; daughters, Suzanne Isom and husband Kenneth of Nederland, Annette Schwartzenburg of Beaumont; son, Gregory Schwartzenburg of Port Arthur; sisters, Idelle Fisher, Irene Schwartzenburg, Edna Redlich; grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Dustin, Tiffany Schwartzenburg, and Holly Isom; great grandchildren, Kate and Austin Schwartzenburg.
