Kathryn Jordan Farque, 81, of Beaumont, was shepherded into the arms of Jesus Saturday morning, September 16, 2006, with her family by her side.
Kathryn grew up in East Texas and graduated from Hemphill High School before moving to Beaumont in 1942. She met and married her husband, Wayne Farque of Beaumont the following year. Wayne and Kathryn raised three daughters and enjoyed fifty-two years of marriage before Wayne’s passing in 1995.
Kathryn is remembered as a woman of wit and strength, with a heart full of love and devotion for her family and friends. Her passing was peaceful, and her grip was strong until the end.
Her beloved husband, Wayne; her brother, Clint Jordan; and her daughter, Mary Kathryn Marshall preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Connie Carter of Beaumont and Diane Belyeu and her husband Jim of Groves; grandchildren, Stacey Farrell and her husband John of Huntsville, Don Marshall and David Marshall both of Beaumont, Chad Belyeu of Groves, Tisha Blount and her husband Paul of Beaumont and Nikki Pevito and her husband Lynn of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; seventeen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family & friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Mortuary.
