Charles “Charlie Bear” Crawford, 43, of Silsbee, died Friday, September 15, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Kountze, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of this area and was a self employed building contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Crawford; children, Ashley Alexander, Amanda Sue Alexander, Josh Costilow all of Silsbee, and Brandy Costilow of Evadale; brothers, Glenn Edward Crawford and Tommy Crosby; and sister, Aleanajean Alford; mother, Donna Sue Gandy; step mother, Frankie Crawford; two special nephews; Clarence Crawford and Blake Hodges of Silsbee; special nieces, Elizebeth Crawford, Rebecca Watts, Miche Crawford, Terra Crawford, Kayla Crawford; grandmother, Ruth Henderson of Winnie; and special baby girl dog, Sarah Lee.
Charlie was preceded in death by his father Clarence Edward Crawford.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Crawford Family Cemetery, 6905 Ben D. Smith Road in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, September 18, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
