Antonia Gonzales, 84, of Silsbee, died Monday, September 5, 2006 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Prosper, Texas, Mrs. Gonzales was a resident of Silsbee for the last five years. She was a retired nurse.
Survivors include her children, Armando Garza and wife, Frances of Silsbee, and Julia Guzman of Canyon, Texas; nine grandchildren; brothers and sisters Julian Gonzales Adolf Gonazales, Alex Gonzales, Lupe Gonzales, Jessie Gonzales, Frances Martinez, Olivia Helena Baltista and Eva Stafford.
Mrs. Gonzales was preceded in death by her mother and father Saltunino and Angelita Gonzales and her son, Elesio Garza, and her brother Freddy Gonzales.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 8, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, in Silsbee with burial to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will also be on Friday, September 8, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s in Silsbee.
