I grew up in Kountze and my mother, Joan Howell, and Mrs. Bane were good friends. She was always so very nice to me when I was young. We have long since moved away from Kountze, but I will always remember Mrs. Bane as being such a lovely woman. Terri Howell terrihowell@yahoo.com

I have many memories growing up just down the street from the family in Kountze ( on the dead-end, the favorite place to ride your bike, hula hoop and meeting place for the neighborhood). I know this is a very sad time for you all but I just wanted you to know you all are in my prayers and thoughts.
