Patricia Anne “Patty” Day Allen, 54, of Fannett, died Friday, August 25, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native and lifelong resident of the Winnie area, Patty worked as an optician at Texas State Optical in Beaumont.
Survivors include one daughter, Misty Allen of Fannett; mother, Vicky Day of Fannett; sister, Charlene Dahlquist of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; brothers, David Day and his wife Cindy of Hamshire, Boyd Day of Fannett and Mike Day and his wife Beth of Fannett; step-daughters, Ami Balduras of Mont Belvieu and Karen Leger of Vidor; and grandchildren, Kole Leger, Noelle and Avery Balduras.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thurman H. Day.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie with burial to follow at Broussard’s Cemetery in Fannett. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Mortuary.
