AUSTIN RICHARD
Austin Richard, 85, of Beaumont passed away August 24, 2006 at his residence. A native of Leonville, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Austin is a retired pipe fitter from Gulf Oil Refinery after thirty-two years of service.
Austin is survived by his wife, Helen Richard of Beaumont; son, LeRoy Tate, Jr. and wife Alice of Nederland; daughter, Debi Pigg and husband Gary of Fannett; sister, Inez Richard of Port Arthur; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren. Austin was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Thibodeaux.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church followed by entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Mortuary.
