Shelia Marlene Peairson Slagle, 48, of Beaumont passed away August 23, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. A native of Houston and a resident of Beaumont for the past twenty five years, she worked for Cotton Cargo as the Accounting Office Manager for fourteen years.
Shelia is survived by, her mother and step father, Janet and John Ed Quarles of Jonesboro, Louisiana; son, Matthew Slagle of Orange; daughters, Calah Slagle and Randa Peairson both of Beaumont; grandson, Nathan Mathew of Beaumont; brother, William B. “Buddy” Peairson and his wife Ginger of LaPorte; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive followed by a committal service at 3:00 P.M. at Forest Park East in Houston. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening August 25, 2006 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
