Lynne Morgan DeVries, 68, of Port Neches passed away, Tuesday August 22, 2006 at her daughter’s home in Port Neches.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Steve Hays, Rev. Joe Roberts, and Rev. Frank Hodges officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday at the mortuary.
Mrs. DeVries was a native of Chicago, Illinois and lived in the Port Neches and Nederland for 20 years. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland.
Mrs. DeVries is survived by three daughters, Cheri Banks and husband Lenny of Channelview, Cindy Nichols and husband Terry of Port Neches, and Colleen Berry and husband Tim of Houston; two sons, John DeVries III of Nederland, and Scott DeVries and wife Stacie of Nederland; one sister, Phyllis Froehle of Chicago, Illinois; brother-in-law, Art DeVries and wife Sue of Oil City, Louisiana; ten grandchildren, Amanda and Michael Banks, Michelle Edwards, Chris, Rebecca and Jennifer Nichols, Ashlyn and Kaelyn Berry, Conner and Garrett DeVries, three great grandchildren, Brandon Gary, Taylor Alford and Brooklyn Edwards.
