Bertis saw something in me that he loved and sometimes I took for granted, that love, but through it all I loved him back the best way I could by being there for him too. I don't think the hole in my heart will ever heal. His death almost killed me. If this is what death feels like then I never want to taste death again.I still miss him every day that rolls around. The good part about you being "Home" is that I know someday I will follow you and I will be able to look in in your eyes and God's and then understand why you were taken so soon..I love and Miss you Bertis, save a place for me .....Kat

To my Bestie

You will be sorley missed, you came to me in a dream Bertis, i was crying and you asked me what was wrong and I said you were gone and I would never see you again, your reply to me was "Don't worry you will see me again" and you were gone, you were my friend for life, and I believe I will see you again so save a place for me, love you so much....

I'm Burtis with a "B"... Those were the first words Burtis ever spoke to me. I just found out today of his passing. I am saddened to hear he is gone from this world. I am saddened for those that knew him and for those that never had a chance to meet him.I was amazed at his outlook on life and his love for the Lord even with the physical hardships he endured.I smile when I think of Burtis and get a BIG grin on my face when I think of where he is now.I will miss you Burtis with a "B" X
