Mamie “Coonie” Barbre, 59, of Spurger, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at her residence.
A native of Gist and lifelong resident of the area, Mamie was a nurse.
Survivors include her children, Guy Hathaway Jr. and his wife Aline of Buna, Misty Hutchby and her husband Dean of Buna; grandchildren: Jessica Hathaway, Mitchell Odom, Dustin Hathaway, Chelsea Hathaway, Dustin Odom, Tristin Eli Hutchby; siblings: Alice Dear, Jennie Hathaway, Tuff Smith, Roland Smith, Beverly Fredieu; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Broussard’s Chapel, 490 Cemetery Road at Highway 96 Bypass in Silsbee with burial to follow at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s in Silsbee.
