Eola Mary Smith, 85, of Beaumont died July 23, 2006 at The Oaks in Beaumont. A native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, she was a resident of Beaumont for most of her life. Eola was a member of St. Anthony’s Altar Society and in her heart, she was married to the Lord.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Farris of Beaumont and Eloise Elizabeth Rosier of DeRidder, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Raymond Earl Boyd of Port Arthur, Sherry Jalene Walls and Tonette Renee Rosier both of Lumberton, John Paul Farris III of Sour Lake, and Karen Ann Farris of Beaumont; eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, evening, July 26, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
