Barbara Cossey Krumrey, 55, of Wallisville, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at UTMB Medical Center in Galveston.
Memorial services will be held Monday, July 17, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Winnie. Cremation services are to be handled by Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont.
Barbara was born in Augusta, Arkansas on May 29, 1951 to Jim and Lejoy Cossey. She has resided in the Winnie area for most of her life where she worked for the Chambers County Sheriff Department as a jailer and kitchen supervisor.
She is survived by her parents; Jim and Lejoy Cossey of Winnie; son, Cossey Krumrey; brother, Daniel E. Cossey and wife Donna of Hankamer; sister Linda Ingalls and husband Pat of Grand Isle, Louisiana,; brother Hoggie Cossey and wife Leann of Hamshire; brother Jimmy Cossey and wife Rose of Fannett; sister Wendy Jaap and husband Frank of San Antonio; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
