Laura Davis Ballard, 85, of Beaumont died July 14, 2006 peacefully. A native of Mineral Wells, Texas and resident of Beaumont for sixty-four years, Laura was a retired bookkeeper with Borden Milk Company.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Ballard of Beaumont and Dave Ballard of Houston; daughter, Brenda Villacis and her husband Juan of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Pattie Ballard Eason, Lisa Ballard Matthews, Glenn Ballard, Maria Peralta, Juan Villacis, Jr., Joseph Villacis, David Villacis, Erin Duffield, and Audra Ballard; twenty-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; caregiver and former daughter-in-law, Judy Kibodeaux; and former daughter-in-law, Brenda Ballard.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Broussard’s Chapel, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the mortuary.
The family would like to extend special thanks for the care and concern given to Laura by Hospice of Texas and her neighbors, Gloria and Joe Reyes.
