Bobbie Lucille Kirkland, 74, of Nederland passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at her daughter’s home in Nederland.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2006 at Broussard’s in Nederland with David Echols officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Kirkland was a native of Pineland and lived in Nederland since 1949. She was a homemaker and a member of the Groves Church of Christ.
Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn, her sister, Donnie Jones, and her grandson, Curtis Cuccia Jr. She is survived by her mother, Velma Whitehead of Pineland; son, Glynn Kirkland Jr. and wife Jeri of Fred; daughters, Brenda Cuccia and husband Curtis of Nederland, and Rhonda Kirkland and partner Clarice Anthony of Houston; sisters, Joyce Duval of Groves, and Mary Beth Alford of Pineland; brother, Royce Whitehead of Lumberton; grandchildren, Kevin Kirkland of Silsbee, Stephanie Cherry of Killeen, Carey Cuccia of Nederland, and Casey Cuccia also of Nederland; one great grandchild, Kyler Kirkland of Silsbee.
