Jr. had a smile and a giggle like that of a child. About ten days before he died, Gary and I went by and visited with him and shared about a trip we were taking. He smiled and giggled, and I remembering telling Gary how glad I was that I got to see him do that again. I can't remember a day when he was ever unpleasant to anyone. I remember only a helpful, kind man who loved his family dearly and had a smile and giggle I will never forget. Having been through the loss of my own Dad, I know the days ahead will not be easy for Betty and Lee. Some days I have had to remind myself of how Dad would want us all to go on and it has been helpful. I am happy for Jr. that he is no longer suffering and hoping he and Dad are having coffee and catching up now. Jr. will not be forgotten. I spent many weekends growing up with Betty & Jr. and am grateful for that time. The picture of Jr. with a cowboy hat holding one of the boys shows his special smile, as did the picture used for the cover of the program for his funeral. That is the Jr. I remember and am thankful God shared his life with all of us. To Betty, Lee & Sandra, Clint, Jason and your families-We are always here if you need us. Thanks to God for Jr's. life, the impact he has had on all of us, and the peace and lack of suffering he is experiencing now.

Good Bye Paw Paw. There are not enough words to express how much I will miss you. I'll never forget the day you made me drive the Mustang (having never driven before) and how you completely trusted my minimal driving skills. Who can forget the many hours in the yard and the garage working on what ever we could get our hands on. Then Grandma would call us in to tunafish sandwiches and Pringles chips. Those were the days... Don' t worry about your "Lil Babe." Dad, Jason and I will take good care of her. You just rest painfree and we'll see you agian before you know it. We ALL Love you very much Paw Paw. Love C P
