Esther Aaron Jones, 95, of Beaumont, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at The Oaks of Beaumont. She was a native of Texarkana, Arkansas and resident of the area since 1941.
Her husband, Jewel Ralph Jones, Sr.; her children, Vallie Kelcher, Donald Ray Jones, Mildred Conner and Robert Jones; and her parents, Alonzo and Jenny Davis Aaron preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Jay Jones of Lumberton; daughter, Ruby J. Hale and her husband Don of Port Neches; sister, Myrtis Briggs of Sherman; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2006 at the Mortuary.
