Thelma May Bothe of Daingerfield, Texas, died Monday July 3, in Anahuac. Born Thelma May Tierce in Odell, Oklahoma, Mrs. Bothe was 93 years old and had been a resident of Odessa, Texas for more than fifty years. At the time of her death she was living with and being cared for by her son, Ulous Bothe and his wife, Thelma, of Daingerfield.
Mrs. Bothe was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than fifty years, Robert Tolbert Bothe of Odessa.
She is survived by her sons, Hoyt Bothe and his wife Paula of Anahuac and Ulous Bothe and his wife Thelma of Daingerfield; daughter, Geraline Bothe Steddum of Odessa; six grandsons; two granddaughters; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Hubbard Kelly Chapel in Odessa under the direction of Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home, 601 N Alleghaney, Odessa. Local arrangements were under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
