I am not a member of this family, however, I have been very close to a great number of you for the past 17 years. With Tanya being my best friend all these years, I have witnessed many times of both happiness and sorrow, and I know more about you all than you probably realize. So let me tell you that I feel your pain, loss, and shock and can personaly relate to loosing so much in such a short amount of time with your family and my own as well. I just want everyone to know that you are all in my prayers now and always. Try to recall the good times when you feel sad and cherrish the people that are still with us. With love, Kellie

In Memory of a great man, thanks for giving my wife Tanya, the right advice all those years ago! I will always remember the way she gave you credit in helping her make the right decision, to spend the rest of her life with me. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. Also, thanks for being there in a tough time when my family turned to you. Farris

This is a loving tribute to my relative and friend "Roberto" When trying to explain my relationship to Robert, I say I am his "Aunt" which is hard for people to understand since, I am younger and blonde. I am his father Tom's adopted sister but when I asked for time off from work this past week, I simply said Robert was my brother. I was raised with Julie, Robert and Jeff, my one and only true family. Where to begin... when I was just a little girl, I lived next door to "the old house in Van" as Johnny "Mac" said at his service. I remember, I always wanted to be right there with Robert, Brother Tom, Ray and Jeff. My first memory is the familiar sound of The Beatles playing "All you need is Love" next door and I would go running, that was my first real "cool memory". Throughout my life Robert was also my "protector" as he was for many, and was my trusted confidant. Here is an example of his greatness, 22 1/2 years ago, I went to Robert after recently losing my mom, I was feeling lost and alone. I asked for advice and needed help on making a huge life decision on love. He listened and without judging or giving his opinion he simply guided me with truth and said "follow your heart" and I did... 22 years later I am still married to my husband Farris. My last memory was last year, when we were able to spend some much needed family time together and be with our sister Julie at Hospice. We were right back where we have always been, in each other's heart but this time within reach and able to hug and love one another. Though, it was only for a couple days, I have laughed and told the stories of us "Rolling in the Escalade and hanging with the Big Dog Roberto", listening to all our favorite songs and remembering days gone by. These moments will always live in my heart and this was my last "cool memory". The last time I heard his voice on my voice-mail he said I just called to say HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU...and I know he did!! To Robert's children, please remember the love and the memories of the great man he was and this will carry you throughout your life. Jeff, please know I am always here, everyday if you need me. Thank you, Robert for making my life so special... forever and 'til we meet again. Aunt Tanya LOL
