Roddy Wayne Sheffield, 44, of Vidor died June 23, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. He was a native of Woodville and a longtime resident of Vidor and worked as a carpenter.
Roddy is survived by his son, Isaac Sheffield of Port Arthur; sister, Susan Thomas of Beaumont; father, Jerry Sheffield of Livingston; and many aunts, uncles and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Janice Glenn Sheffield; and his grandparents, Webb and Celester Sheffield and Perry and Ledra Glenn.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening June 26, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
