James “Jimmy” David Payne Jr., 48, of Silsbee, died Friday, June 23, 2006 in Beaumont, Texas.
Jimmy was born on March 6, 1958 in Kountze. He was a 1977 graduate of Silsbee High School. He was also a member of Caney Head Assembly of God Church.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road at Highway 96 Bypass in Silsbee with burial to follow at Cunningham Cemetery also in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, June 24, 2006 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
He was preceded in death by his father, James David Payne Sr.
Survivors include his loving family; mother, Evelyn Clark and husband Malcolm; sister, Penny Drake and husband Tim; half-brother, William David Miller; half-sister, Janis L. Payne; nephews, Tim Drake II, Trenton Drake; and niece, Kalli Drake, all of Silsbee. He is also survived by his two cats, Gem and Hershey.
