James H. “Jimmy” Reagan, 68, of Beaumont died June 21, 2006 at his residence.

Those left behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Sherry Reagan; brother-in-law, Robert H. Carter, Jr.; brother, Charles Reagan and his wife Jeannie; sisters, Beth Mock and her husband Roy, Jane Hardy and her husband Ronald (Buddy); sister-in-law, Sue Reagan. He had numerous nieces, nephews and lots and lots of friends.

James had a great love for them all. He retired from Goodyear Chemical after thirty-seven years of service and enjoyed hunting and camping.

A very special thanks to Cindy and Sean Fitzgerald of the Southeast Texas EMS, and their staff; Dr. Jose Lozano and the fine staff at the Kidney Center; and Donna Hironimus and everyone of P.R.N. Medical for all of the kindness and care you all gave us. A very extra special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Patrick H. Phelan for all your help during a difficult time. We enjoyed your visits, jokes, laughs, you taking time out of your busy day to call, and coming by to take Jimmy out for rides. We really enjoyed seeing your grandchildren, Morgan, Caroline, Jackson and Isabell. They always brighten up our days when they would hang out with their Paw Paw, and you would all drop by to see us. And one more final thanks to John Rumsey and Corey Trump for all your visits and help with Mr. Jimmy.

A graveside service for Jimmy will be 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 24, 2006 in China Cemetery, China, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Dr. in Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday morning at the Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church of your choice.

Uncle Jimmy, you taught me the finer arts of camping and hunting and family. I miss you. I will think of you whenever I am outdoors. I will forever remember you saving us from the mud in Oakville. Rest in peace.

We really enjoyed Jimmie when we made all those trips to Beeville. Belinda, Bill, Rosy, and Dale did also.
