Liliene Bailey Smith, 69, of Kountze, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. She was born May 19, 1937 to Garnete and Nancy Bailey in Honey Island, Texas. She lived most of her life in Hardin County and was a homemaker.
Liliene is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd J. Smith. She is survived by three daughters: Patricia Lynn Hatcher Brady of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Wendy Renee Young Sechler of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Stacy Diane Smith of Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters: Elizabeth Bailey Sechler of Sour Lake, Texas and Dianne Bailey of Kountze, Texas; two brothers: Gary Dorman Bailey of Jackson, Mississippi and Don Shelton Bailey of Kountze, Texas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s Chapel, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze, Texas with Reverend Jeff Pittman officiating.
