Nelwyn Screen Davis, 74, of Port Neches passed away Thursday, June 8, 2006 at her residence in Port Neches.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Broussard’s Chapel in Nederland with Father Bennie Patillo officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday, June 9, 2006 with a Christian Vigil to be held at 7:30 PM at the mortuary.
Mrs. Davis was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and lived in the Port Neches area for 40 years. She was a homemaker in her home.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Earl Davis and her daughter, Cheryl Davis Hidalgo. She is survived by her brother, Allen Screen and his wife Judy of Port Neches; son-in-law, Robert Hidalgo of Groves; four grandchildren, Sabrina Hidalgo, Mark and Amy Gassen, Chris Hidalgo and Joshua Hidalgo; and several nieces and nephews.
