Helen Elizabeth Jones passed away peacefully from this earth to Heaven on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the age of 91. She joins her husband, Clarence, who preceded her. Helen was born on November 21, 1914 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, then moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1947 with her husband and lived there until her health issues made it necessary to move to Beaumont in 2003.

She was a wonderfully talented person who could do almost anything! Helen was active in Pulaski Heights Methodist Church, her bridge club, Garden Club and especially treasured her family and friends. She never met a stranger and was a joy to all that knew her. Helen was a devoted spouse, a loving mother and a cherished friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Helen is survived by her son, Tom Jones and his wife Barbara; grandchildren, Allison, Andrew and his wife Heena and their daughter, Alisha all of Beaumont.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pulaski Heights Methodist Church, P.O. Box 250768, Little Rock, Arkansas 72225-0768 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3195 Calder, Ste. 200, Beaumont, Texas 77702.
