Lorena Patton, age 92, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 30, 2006.
Mrs. Patton was a native of Erath, LA and had spent most of her life in Nederland. She was a retired clerk from Nederland Pharmacy and the Baker Williford Pharmacy. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Patton and two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Laughlin and husband, Richard of Beaumont; three brothers, Rayfus Premeaux, Gerald Premeaux, and Preston Premeaux all of Nederland; two grandchildren, Rick Laughlin and wife, Julie, Becky Cole and husband, Brad; three great grandchildren, Courtney Laughlin, Troy Laughlin and Katie Cole.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kathy and Algene, the care givers for Mrs. Patton. Also a special thanks to Jefferson Home Health and Profession Health Care Hospice.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 1, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Reverend Dan Malain presiding. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland.
