Margaret Smith, 72, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor.
A native of Shelbyville, Texas, Margaret had been a resident of Beaumont most of her life.
Survivors include her sons, James A. Smith, Jr. of Beaumont and Ronald W. Smith and his wife Jana of Lumberton; brothers, Bill Duncan and his wife Gladys, Ernest Duncan and his wife Gladys all of Houston and James Duncan and his wife Lois of Kirbyville; sisters, Avis Chapman and her husband Jack of Colmesneil and Edna Golden of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Alanna Marie Smith of North Hills, California, Amanda Linn Smith of College Station and Jarod Michael Smith of Lumberton.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Tanner Cemetery in Burkesville, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
