Dale “Gates” Simon, age 59, of Port Acres, passed away May 24, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Simon was born September 25, 1946 in Alexandria, LA and had been a resident of the Groves/Port Arthur area for most of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Joseph Simon of Port Acres; five sons, Kevin Hebert and wife, Elizabeth, Brian Joseph Simon and wife, Cheryl, David Troy Hebert and wife, Rebecca, Robert Wayne Simon and Ray Allen Hebert and wife, Kerri; one daughter, Brenda Steed; twenty four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Ginger Goates and Maudine White; one brother, Gary Landon “Bo” Gates
A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland with a memorial service at 2:00 PM in Broussard’s Nederland Chapel with Reverends Mike and Cathy Dessy officiating.
