Bobbie Gene Stanley, Jr., 54, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at his residence.
A longtime resident of Silsbee, Gene worked as a Carpenter with Mason Construction.
Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Tonita Collins Stanley and his wife, Jacqueline Annelle Stanley.
Survivors include his sons, Bobbie Gene “Trey” Stanley, III and wife Summer Jordan of Lumberton, Douglas Wayne Stanley and wife Tara of Buna and Brandon Lee Stanley of Silsbee; granddaughter, Kendall Reese Stanley; father, Bobby Gene Stanley of Highlands; brothers, Larry Wayne Stanley and wife Cissy and Eddie Stanley and wife Rose Mary all of Highlands; sister, Tammy Stanley of Channelview; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Broussard’s Chapel, 490 Cemetery Road at Highway 96 Bypass in Silsbee, with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Town Bluff. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. also at Broussard’s in Silsbee.
