Ethel Evans, 98, of Winnie died May 9, 2006 at the Arboretum Nursing Home of Winnie.

A graveside services will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Beckley, West Virginia at a future date. A gathering of family and friends will be 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Broussard’s 134 W. Buccaneer Dr Winnie.

A native of Salulsville, West Virginia she was preceded in death by her daughter in law Norma Evans of Beaumont and is survived by her grandchildren Ellen Appleby and Jeff Murphy, Nancy and Wade Oliver all of Winnie, Dan Evans of Hawaii and Gary Evans of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews; great-grandchildren, Haley and Johnathan Appleby and Wyatt and Colt Oliver of Winnie and friend and caregiver Maggie Hancock of Beaumont.
