Dearest Opal: Only now do I see that you have passed away...I remember our friendship from the days I was a writer at the Port Arthur News. You were such a lady and so interesting...I loved to listen to you whenever possible...You made an impression on me that has lasted all these years. I know the area is a little less lovely without you there.
