Jose Gonzalez, 61, of Beaumont died June 12, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. A native of Agujita, Mexico and resident of Beaumont for ten years, Jose was employed with Fisherman’s Reef.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A rosary will be recited Monday evening, June 14, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.

He is survived by his brothers, Simon Gonzalez and his wife Delia, Jesus Gonzalez and his wife Estella, Salvador Gonzalez and his wife Magarita, and Gregorio and his wife Berna all of Houston, Alberto Gonzalez of Beaumont, Eduardo Gonzalez and his wife Socorro of Agujita, Mexico and David Gonzalez and his wife Lourdes of Guerrero, Mexico; sisters, Mary Rojas and her husband Frank and Esperanza Gonzalez all of Beaumont.
