Peggy Ann Mitchell Medina, 55, of Lumberton, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Oakland, California, she lived in the Lumberton area since 1971 and was a homemaker.
Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Mitchell and her stepmother, Ayako Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Medina of Lumberton; children, Christopher Travis Cole of Vidor, Josie Moss and husband Brian of Copperas Cove, Texas, Misti Montalvo and husband Carlos of Silsbee and Thomas Medina, III of Houston; Grandchildren, Caden, Tyler and Brandon Montalvo, Nicholas, Matthew and Jaxson Moss; father, George G. Mitchell, Jr. of Lumberton; sisters, Bonnie Tappan and husband Thomas of Anderson, Indiana, and Beverly Craigen and husband John of Spring; brothers, Hank Mitchell and wife Renee of Lumberton, and Bill Mitchell of Allen, Texas; nephew, John Derritt Smith and wife Angelique of Lumberton.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 7, 2006 at Broussard’s Chapel, 490 Cemetery Road at Highway 96 Bypass, Silsbee with burial to follow at Bumstead Cemetery in Lumberton. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 6, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
