Sheila Diane Overstreet, 57, of Kountze, was born on July 17, 1948 to Walter Ray and Betty Jean Overstreet in Silsbee, Texas and passed away on April 1, 2006 at her residence. Sheila was a lifelong resident of Hardin County. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her father: Walter Ray Overstreet of Kountze; children: Randy Laird and wife Jackie of Nacogdoches; Candy Laird, Donald Wayne Trotter both of Beaumont; Wesley Swor of Lumberton; and Kasey Diane Swor also of Lumberton; brothers: Troy Daniel Overstreet of Beaumont and Walter Ray Overstreet, Jr. of Zavalla and Joe Lynn Overstreet of Kountze; sisters: Jo Ann Duncan of Kountze and Kim Tinkle of Kountze; grandchildren: Luke Laird, Lane Laird, Macayla “ KayKay” Swor, Reichen Bradley Trotter.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the First Baptist Church ,100 Monroe St., Kountze ,Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, April 4, 2006, from 5:00 P.M. until 9 :00 P.M., at Broussard’s Mortuary, 530 W Monroe, Kountze, Texas, with burial to follow at Holland Cemetery in Kountze, Texas.
