Joanne Haviland Groves, TX April 4, 2006
Marie, God gave me only a short time to know you and Vernon, but it seemed like the easiest thing to do when I felt a love for both of you. I just wish I could have said goodbye, but the lord knows best so he is letting me remember Vernon the way he was that Friday before he died.He had a smile on his face and a kind word for me. Just remember that if you need me I'm always just a call away, and I love you. Hey who knows maybe we can take some trips together sometimes. Whenever you feel like you need a friend, I'd like it if you would consider me, although I know that you are a private person which is ok. You are always in my prayers. For His Saike, Joanne Haviland
