Maria “Martha” Martina Torres, 50, of Beaumont, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Hermanas Coah, Mexico had been a resident of Beaumont since 1976 and was a waitress for Casa Olé Parkdale Mall.
Survivors include her husband, Roberto Torres of La Piedad, Mich Mexico; daughters, Ana Torres and Rosalinda Torres both of Beaumont; sons, Roberto Torres, Jr. of Beaumont and Francisco DeLaRosa of Mexico; grandson, Raphael Santitos; sisters, Maria Matilde Munoz, Maria Josefina DeLaRosa and Maria Juana DeLaRosa; brothers Francisco DeLaRosa, Cornelio DeLaRosa and Joaquin DeLaRosa; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 27, 2006 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. with a Christian Vigil to follow Sunday, March 26, 2006 at the Mortuary.
