Jose Alberto Valdez, 22, of Beaumont, died Monday, March 13, 2006.
A native of Guatemala, Central America, and resident of Beaumont for several years, he was a cook with Logan’s Restaurant.
Survivors include his father, Marco Tulio Valdez; mother, Raquel Valdez; sisters, Carolina Isela Valdez and Heidy Edith Valdez; brothers-in-law, Gerardo Ramirez and Fidel Angel Lainez, Jr.; niece, Jacqueline Noemi Ramirez; grandparents, Jose and Carmen Valdez and Paulina Hernandez; uncles, Oscar and Estela Valdez, Emilio and Roseane Valdez, Alberto and Miriam Hernandez, Saul and Zucely Hernandez, and Luis Hernandez; aunts, Sara and Miguel Huinac, and Adalinda and Agustin Son; girlfriend, Fatima Farias; cousins, Oscar Isai Valdez, Isabel Stephanie Valdez, Emilio R. Valdez, Jr., Aura Marisela Valdez, Abigail Hernandez, Astrid Hernandez, Eber Hernandez, Brian Hernandez, Jose Luis Hernandez, Luis Alberto Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Paulina Hernandez, Walter Son, and Claudia Son.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Mortuary.
