Mike Carter, 59, of Nome died March 10, 2006.
A native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, Mike was owner of CHT Transportation. He will be dearly missed by all and will be remembered for always trying to find a better way to help others.
He is survived by his mother, Jan McCanne and her husband Jack of Beaumont; sons, John Carter and his wife Karen of LaBelle and Buckley Carter of Nome and their mother, Joan Carter of Nome; grandchildren, Paige Carter and Cade Lummus.
Funeral services will be Noon Monday, March 13, 2006 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday evening, March 12, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M at the mortuary.
