Melissa Renee Richardson, 43 of Lumberton, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native of Houston, she was a lifetime resident of Lumberton and graduated from Lumberton High School in 1981. Melissa was currently employed by Gander Mountain in Beaumont.
Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Doss and Marie Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Richardson of Lumberton; children, James Richardson and Hayley Richardson both of Lumberton; brothers, J.D. Johnson of Vidor and Charles Johnson and wife Sonia of Kountze; aunt, Frances Bonura and husband Richard of Beaumont; sister-in law, Robin Franklin and husband Greg of Silsbee; nephew, Brandon Franklin; nieces, Randi Barks, Ashly Franklin and Ashley Johnson; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Broussard’s Chapel, 490 Cemetery Road at Highway 96 Bypass in Silsbee with burial to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, March 7, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
