Joan Bott age 71, of Nederland passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 at her residence.
She was born October 31, 1934 in Fort Worth, TX and had been a resident of Nederland for the past 40 years. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. In her earlier years she served as assistant manager at the Goodyear Service store on Calder in Beaumont.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years B. C. Bott; one son, Vincent L. Bott; Daughter-in-law, Diana Bott; one granddaughter, Christina Bott all of Nederland and one sister, Anna Sloan of Beauxart Gardens.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8 pm Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland. The family will then honor the request of Mrs. Bott for Cremation.
